1st May 2019 Apostle Heynes in Glasgow

Text word: Matthew 11:28, ‘Come to me all ye who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.’

Apostle Heynes expressed a wish that we would all feel close to our heavenly Father, and realise He really wants to walk and talk with us.
The text word indicates that Jesus does not want us to hesitate, when we are labouring with something, that is the moment He can support us. Physically we may be present in service, however we need to open ourselves up spiritually, perhaps even letting something go, like our own ego, in the process?
Indeed, sometimes we may be unable to recognise the pain we cause ourselves, perhaps if we cannot forgive easily, we limit ourselves.
Bishop Middleton assisted and the congregation enjoyed some special moments together in fellowship after the service. Our Lord wishes to give us peace, refresh us and lighten our load. By aligning to His direction, we experience His nearness and we can be an example for others.
