Youth Service with Priest Tim Clement, Glasgow 16th September 2018.
Text word: Revelation 21:5, ‘Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
Priest Clement reminded us that God is the creator, we can make things but only out of what has been already created by Him.
When we experience our baptism with water we become a new being, and those of us who have accepted Christ are being developed and built up by God.
In our short time on earth our heavenly Father wants to do amazing things with us.
We designed to form relationships and when we love others, even though this can be at a cost to ourselves, we are building treasures up for our eternal life.
When things are really difficult at times, it can become harder to remain open and loving and we might exhibit negativity. Let us as a congregation, contribute and lift each other up in these moments. Look past the anger, don’t be offended and strengthen one another.
God teaches us to contribute to society – to make a difference and live in harmony. Using natural resources in a fair way.
We are also encouraged to put aside some time to reflect and to hear His word. By living like this we are a visible example for others and can continue to be built up by God.
Priest Jordan and Paisley assisted, and the congregation enjoyed some time together in fellowship.
